Yes NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY is a Government Funded Technical Institutions but it does not take part in JOSAA counselling for admission to engineering courses instead the engineering seats for NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY are filled through Joint Admission Counselling which is different from JOSAA counselling.

But note that admission are taken only on the basis of JEE-Main CRL ranking so if you are seeking admission in NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY for engineering then you have to register yourself for JAC counselling and then only you can sit for counselling of NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY.
