NIT Srinagar is a safe option, career wise. There are other factors that you might want to look into before joining such as the climate and the constant protests around that area. National institute of technology is absolutely safe you need not worry about the safety there are there CCTV cameras there which are absolutely protective.choosing civil engineering there is absolutely worth and good hence there is no need for having any tensions and stress regarding them.all the best!!
