While these scores may not meet the criteria of top colleges like NITs and IITs, there are several colleges offering admission to various B. Tech programmes within this percentile range. Students scoring a percentile between 70 and 80 in JEE Main 2024 have diverse options for colleges So if anyone in top 20 percentile, despite less than 75% marks is eligible to admission in IITs/NITS/IIITs. You are eligible for IIT but selection depends on your hard work. Generally, at the school level percentages below 65 are below average, percentages of 75-80 are considered average while above 95 is exceptional. At the university level however percentages between 60-79 are considered excellent and are difficult to obtain, Can I get IIIT without 75 percent criteria? Yes, some IIITs, such as IIIT Delhi, IIIT Hyderabad, and IIIT Bangalore. as well as several top private institutions, admit students without the 75% criteria
