  • Cutoff is Something which is decided by CBSE Based on students Performance and taking all the mean, median values.
  • Usually it varies from year to year based on total number of students written the test and to be qualified for advanced.
  • From the past 2–3 Years morethan 1.8 Lakhs are qualified in 2017,2016 where as in 2014,2015 it is close to 1.5 Lakhs students
  • So ,as Size Increases Cutoff would be Decreased,
  • for this Year 2018, i believe 120+ is safe.
  • Comparing from 2016 to 2017 Cutoff is reduced by 19 Marks

Hope this could help to an Extent.
