Hi,
questions in JEE mains are taken indirectly from NCERT exempler they are more of connected with inside chapter details and sometimes are out of the scope of board syllabus but majorly and mostly they are from the exempler just presented in a different way, thought you need to practice alot from outside NCERT sources and solve previous year papers and give mock tests.

well questions are taken directly or indirectly from NCERT TEXTBOOK for the jee main examination.studying NCERT textbook is very important and you have to remember all the concepts and formulas .but you have to also practice various examples and probelms from other books and previous papers because you cannot only depend on ncert textbooks.the series and difficulty of problems changes from book to book.so practice well and work hard!
