Is ribosome membrane bounded organalle
hello,
a ribosome is not a membrane bound organelle and that is the reason why they are different from other organelles. also they are divided into two parts namely the bigger subunit and the smaller sub unit that function in the translation and synthesis of protein processes.
they are however bound to the surfaces of the Smooth endoplasmic reticulum and make then Rough endoplasmic reticulum.
