Yes ofcourse, why not? Kinemetics is the major part from wherein questions are asked in KVPY exams. If you talk about the weightage, then it would be around 1-3 questions from ROTATIONAL motion. Don't fear this chapter, it's a very easy one and things will become easy once you sit and work hard for it. I was stuck in the same situation a year ago and then later on I also found it much easy but it was time up way too late. So better go for it right now.
