Yes Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry is important. Understanding this chapter will enable you to solve all "mole based" questions of Physical Chemistry chapters. Moreover the concepts of molarity, molality, mole fraction and normality are needed for the chapter "Solutions". It might not be an importamt chapter in terms of number of questions asked in NEET, however this chapter is important for understanding Physical Chemistry.

Thank You

Best Of Luck

The chapter is one of the most fundamental and important chapter in whole of Chemistry. There are some 2-4 basic questions that comes in NEET from this chapter on important topics like mole concept, limiting reagent, others like molarity, molality etc.

Kindly do not ignore this chapter because it’s for sure it will come in NEET and AIIMS and also will form the basic of your further understanding of physical, inorganica as well as organic chemistry. Try having a crystal clear concept and do all possible equation types possible at least once.

HI DIYA

IT'S NOT SO IMPORTANT CHAPTER. YOU WILL LEARN ITS ALL TERMS IN ANOTHER CHAPTER SO DONT WASTE TIME TO LEARN IT.JUST TAKE A SIMPLE READING BECAUSE IT IS BASIC OF PHYSICAL.

IF YOU ARE WEAK IN PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY THEN YOU SHOULD STUDY IT MAJOR POINT.
