Not really. See the difficulty levels this year will be set to the JEE Main standard says Maharashtra DTE. However it will not be the same. This is the first year this will be implemented so any comments on this will be a tad too early. However, my suggestion is that there will be no harm in preparing as if you are appearing for JEE Main. If the difficulty levels are same, you can crack it and if it is easy then its much better. all the best!
According, to the recent changes MHT CET level is raised to JEE Main.
11th class carry 20% weightage and 12th class will carry 80% weightage and there will be no negative marking. So, you should prepare accordingly. There is no negative marking as well.
To score good marks in your exam you should go through MHT CET text books. Apart, from your text book you can also refer to Arihant, Marvel and Target publication.
Solving mock test series is very important for your practice and to know your strength and weakness. So, you can work upon them.
Good luck!!
