In India most of the states conduct their own entrance exams for the admission into UG engineering courses of colleges in their state 

Telangana state has TSEAMCET

Andhra Pradesh has APEAMCET

Karnataka has  K-CET

Like wise Tamil Nadu also conduct a entrance test for the UG courses in TamilNadu engineering college. It is called as TNEA (Tamil nadu Emgineering Admissions) . It is conducted bh the Anna university every year.

Anna University is like JNTU-H for telangana eamcet.It has nearly 1.5 lakh seats with 563 institutions involved.
