Yes there is branch sliding after first year. If you are willing to join in particular branch you can change. It doesn't depend on academics and after you change your branch you won't get any fee reimbursement if you are a scholarship holder. You need to pay total fee

To change your course or subjects, it depends on the college that you are in. Depending on your academics, your attendance records and the regulations of the college that you are studying in, you can or cannot opt for another branch of engineering. You will have to check with your college admissions team as to whether this is allowed or not.
