Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So with regard to your query, YES there is the defense quota for the purpose of NEET. A total of 20 seats are available for this quota. The reservation is available for the Indians only, and secondly, the candidate must be a ward of the Armed personnel.
Hope this helps you!!
Hi,
There is no reservation for Defence Quota candidates in the All India Quota. However, under the Defence Quota in NEET, some states may have a reserve, like Maulana Azad Medical college and colleges in Maharashtra.
Seats are reserved for candidates whose parents are in the Navy or the army. You can check the colleges' official websites for information on the exact number of seats available and the application process.
The cut off for Central Pool quota in NEET for CAPF wards is as follows-
GENERAL/OBC- 590
SC-460
ST- 340
FOR BDS- GENERAL/OBC/SC/ST- 460
Hope it helps!
