Hello there ,
Hope you are doing well . Yes, there are many such examples of people not only from Maharashtra but other places as well where people after getting BAMS in one year , gave NEET again the next year ,qualified and got a government medical seat sometimes even in their desired medical colleges .
It's all one's choice . If she /he strictly wants to pursue MBBS ,can take a partial drop prepare well and get their desired seat the next year . But yes if you get a government MBBS seat the next year , you'll have to take a transfer certificate from your your then BAMS college and may also have to pay a certain amount of bond money for leaving the seat and also getting all your relevant documents back from the college .
Hope my answer helped.
