If you are general category student then its really difficult for you to get IITs .You can apply for MS/PHD programmes ,you might get colleges as there are very less number of students who apply for MS .

Or if you want to do Mtech its good to go for NITs when you are not getting IITs.You might get desired branch and college.Do apply for CCMT counselling at earliest.

Iit's cutoff for gate is the minimum score required for admission into mtech programmes across various iit's. Candidates who scored equal marks or more than cutoff of marks of gate iit's will be considered for admission into mtech programmes.
