NDA promotes sports. NDA has produced international sportsmen like: Tarapore (sailing), Adhiraj Singh (riding) and Rajyavardhan Rathore (shooting) and maybe even more.
Thus possibility is definitely there of making a career in sports through NDA. In the current environment of specialization & super-specialization NDA may not be the ideal route to a career in sports compared to avenues like the state sports administration, various sports autonomous bodies and Sports Authority of India.
