i got 88 precentage in 12 th class in pcm . can i join indian air force ?

If you are willing to join Air Force through NDA, you need to pass 12th class with 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent, with Physics and Mathematics and the 12th std exam/s should be conducted by a State Education Board or University.

There are no specific marks required to apply for NDA exam, you need to pass all your 12th std. exams. Even the candidates who are appearing for 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination, can also apply for the exam.

But I've heard somewhere that it's necessary to have at least 60 percent in PCM in 12th to join airforce as a pilot

No, there is no criteria for minimum required marks in PCM, if you want to become a pilot through NDA. You need to pass all your 12th std. exams with Physics and Mathematics. The 60% criteria you are refrerring to is for AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test), that too at graduation level. This means, a candidate wishing to sit for AFCAT, must be a graduate in, any discipline from a recognized university or BE/B TECH degree with at least 60% of aggregate marks.
