Hello Aspirant,

No, central pool quota does not exist.

As per the information in the ministry of family health and welfare, The Central Pool Quota seats in NEET are those seats which have been obtained through voluntary contributions from various State Governments or colleges. These seats are allocated to States or Union Territories which have insufficient or no medical or dental institutions of their own. The seats are also reserved for wards of individuals working with certain Government Departments.

The beneficiary states/Union Territories are

  • Arunachal Pradesh
  • Manipur
  • Meghalaya
  • Mizoram
  • Nagaland
  • Sikkim
  • Tripura
  • Andaman and Nicobar
  • Dadra and Nagar Haveli
  • Daman and Diu
  • Lakshadweep

The beneficiary Government Departments are:

  • Ministry of Defence  For wards of Defence Personnel
  • Ministry of Home Affairs  For wards of Paramilitary Personnel and for wards of Civil Terrorism victims
  • Ministry of External Affairs  For wards of Mission Staff posted outside India
  • Ministry of Human Resource Development  For Tibetan Refugees
  • For Cabinet Secretariat  for wards of personnel working at RAW, SSF, SPG and others
  • For Indian Council of Child Welfare  for National Bravery Award winners

Good luck!
