There's no guarantee of job in any course or any college as there's no college or course which provides 100% placement,  even in iits , there's no 100 % placement or job guarantee. NIFT students have been placed in companies of various types. NIFT students have been recruited by large retailers of clothes who prefer their designs being done by NIFT students since the NIFT faculty trains them exclusively for such work. Manufacturers of clothes too have recruited NIFT students on a large scale so that NIFT students are able to provide them with new ideas related to cloth designing, which will obviously boost up the sales. Even consultancy services often resort to hiring NIFT students since they can consult on the designs, technical aspects of designs of particular clothing brands and ensure that the advice of NIFT students are helpful. NIFT students have also been placed in design and textile mills which are dependent on NIFT students for advice on everything ranging from clothing quality to designs of clothes. NIFT students thus are placed accordingly in proper companies which are not only reputed but know how to efficiently use and respect the skills of an NIFT student.
