Yes PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) are the organisations in which government has 51percent or more stake and are regulated by Ministry of heavy industries and enterprises. These are considered as one of the top government jobs in India. There are many criterias for public sector undertaking jobs such as  valid GATE Exam  score, graduation percentage/ CGPA etc.

well this a hard query to answer and it's a diplomatic question as well. 

Every job has its own pros and cons and it basically depends on ones need and approach whether he/she wants to pursue a job in PSU or government job. 

The primary thing is both the jobs are difficult to get. So if one gets any one of those listed above then he should defianetly opt for it. Until unless they want to switch to MNC. 

But the main line is almost both have the same structural work and the strech of facilities would be atmost same.
