Ecanonically Weaker Section(EWS) is a sub-par category of people in India. The annual income for these category people is considered to be low, and does not belong to reserved categories.

In some of the articles it is mentioned that the central government has decided to provide 10% reservation for EWS categories.

But in Telangana people are finding it hard to get EWS certificate. There is no official message from the Telangana Government.
