Hello geeta ma,am i hope you are doing well ! it depends on every college wheather uniform is compulsory or not! Though colleges who have uniform do have notice to wear uniform daily or days are have been aloted for the uniform! It depends on college wheather to keep uniform as compuslory or not!

There is no such thing as a compulsory uniform for arts students. Every college decides that on its own whether they would want their students in casual dresses or uniform. Most of the colleges in Bombay don't have uniform in Junior college whereas the colleges in Navi Mumbai have uniforms for junior college students(11th, 12th). So it totally depends on the college you choose.
