It is nothing like compulsory. It depends mainly on you and your choice.if you are really interested in doing the course,you should probably go for it. You can opt for a good career in it as long as you are interested in that subject and if not, the I should ask you not to think of it and go for any course where your interest does really lie and trust me you will have a good career ahead.
