I've completed my 12th in 2019, took a drop, and wasted the whole year. can I take admission in the direct second year? I'm willing to fulfill any formalities regarding lateral entry in ba psychology.

Hello noika!!!

Sorry, you cannot enter into direct second year since you had not done any first year classes. If you are from diploma you can enter into second year. But you had completed your twelfth so you have no opportunity to get into direct second year.

For more details regarding how to choose best colleges refer to the following link given below

Thanks a lot!!!

No, In general, you can't take admission directly as a second year student. You have to take a fresh admission as a first year student and complete it to be eligible to study as a second year.

The one year which you have wasted (or might have learned something new) will be considered as the gap year and not as the first year of the proceeding course.

If you are specific about any particular college, then you may personally request them about it but there is no such rule.

Hope it helps.
