Inorder to write the JEE MAINS examination there is not any percentage eligibility criteria for that but yaah inorder to enter in these elite institute like IIT/ NIT/ IIIT/ GFTI you need to have a score of atleast of atleast 75% in class 12th or you should be under top 20 percentile from any State / Central board.
