The eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE ADVANCED examination 2020 is firstly you need to clear the JEE MAIN paper whose cutoff is not declared yet but it will be after the April session of JEE MAIN. Other than that the minimum requirement is the 12th or equivalent %age of marks which is 75 for gen and OBC cat. students . For SC , ST it is 65 or you need to be among the top 20 percentile students in your respective board.  Also you must be among the top 2,24,000 rankers which was the previous years trend. Your date of birth should be on or after Oct. 1, 1995. Also you can give it twice in 2 consecutive years if you have appeared in JEE ADVANCED 2019 you're eligible for 2020 also. But if your admission into any of the 23 IIT's has been cancelled last year you are not eligible for appearing.

It is difficult to predict the cut-off for the jee advanced right this time. but, it is decent enough to score 85+ percentile to qualify for the jee advanced exam.

meanwhile you can predict your rank using the formula (100-your total percetile)*869010/100. if the candidates for april exam increased to 1200000 then your rank shall be (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100.

The eligibility criteria for JEE advanced is the following.

• A candidate must qualify JEE main to appear for JEE advance the cutoff is different for different categories
• There is no specific age limit as ordered by the supreme court .
• a candidate can attempt JEE advanced only maximum two times that two in the consecutive years starting from class 12th.
• the candidate also must meet the minimum percentage criteria for general category then it to score 75% in class 12 board and for SC ST category it is 65%. Else if the candidate is among top 20 percentile of the board then also he is eligible.

To be on a safer side you have to get 80 percentile and above (considering general)

It is difficult to predict the actual rank or JEE Advance qualifying marks  but you may calculate  your expected rank by given below Formula.

864469 are the number of candidates appeared for the January exam. So rank formula is (100- your total score) * 864469 / 100.
