Dear Meghana, NTA has announced changes to JEE Mains pattern. JEE Mains will have 2 papers. Paper 1 is for Engineering aspirants and Paper 2 is for Architecture and Planning Aspirants. According to the Paper 1 new pattern, now each section will have 25 questions. This will be a combination of MCQs and numerical questions. All the 3 subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will have 20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions asked. Based on previous exam papers and an analysis, the approximate weightage of each chapter of each subject has been calculated.
