Chapter-wise weightage may slightly vary each year, we can rely on trends from previous years these are some stats which you can follow:

mathematics:

  • Calculus: 20-25% (5-6 questions)
  • Coordinate Geometry: 12-15% (3-4 questions)
  • Algebra: 15-18% (3-4 questions)
  • Vectors & 3D Geometry: 8-10% (2-3 questions)

Chemistry:

  • Physical Chemistry:
    • Thermodynamics, Solutions, Electrochemistry: 6-8% each (1-2 questions)
  • Inorganic Chemistry:
    • Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds: 6-7% each (1-2 questions)
  • Organic Chemistry:
    • GOC, Aldehydes, Ketones: 6-8% (2 questions)

Physics:

  • Mechanics: 25-30% (4-5 questions)
  • Electrodynamics: 20-25% (4-5 questions)
  • Optics: 10% (2 questions)
  • Modern Physics: 15% (2-3 questions)
  • Thermodynamics: 6-8% (1-2 questions)
