JEE Main will be conducted twice a year one in the Month of January and Second in the month of April.
The scores of Attempt 1 will be converted into percentile scores, Percentile Indicates the percentage of Students who scored less than you. Similarly, Attempt2 will be converted into percentile scores, Now those who appeared in Both, Attempt with Higher percentile scores will be considered, And based upon that All India Ranks will be calculated.

What is the mean of percentile sir

For example if 500 student appear in the exam and 400 student scored below or equal to you then your percentile score will be (400/500 )*100=80
Then 80 is my Mark or rank
Then is the method to calculate the score of the students where they can't calculate the rank of the students previous year methoed
