It might be sufficient for state-level engineering college or private university but difficult to get into higher institutions like NITs or IITs.

With 79.75 percentile in JEE Mains, getting Civil Engineering at ASTU (Assam Science and Technology University) is unlikely through JEE for the General category , but possible for reserved categories if they accept JEE scores.

ASTU mainly admits via Assam CEE , not JEE.
If you belong to OBC/SC/ST , your chances improve.
