Hello aspirant,

If you belong to general category then you have to score a minimum of 98.5 percentile to get a seat in NIT's (CSE and IT Branch). I will mention the closing ranks of few top NIT'S in CSE and IT Branch for general caste students-
  1. National Institute of Technology Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu ( CSE- 1373 )
  2. National Institute of Technology Warangal, Telangana( CSE- 2328)
  3. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat, Gujarat( CSE- 6325 )
  4. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh ( CSE- 3562, IT- 5595 )
  5. National Institute of Technology Delhi ( CSE- 7286 )
