This year the criteria is a bit different. As all the subjects of class 12 of several boards have not conducted and marks have been provided on the basis of internal assessment and previous exam marks, many students have affected by these. So this year, the criteria of at least 75% or top 20 percentile has been scrapped and among all 2,50,000 candidates who have passed 12th examination will be eligible to sit for Jee Advanced 2020. Read our article http://news.careers360.com/jee-advanced-2020-eligibility-criteria-relaxed-hrd-minister But this criteria of 75% aggregate marks in Board (65% for SC, ST and PwD) or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board will be retained for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. This critetion has been uplifted for Jee Advanced only. And everything remains same. So there are almost negligible chances that this criterion will not be uplifted.
