AMU administers its own entrance exam, known as AMUEEE, for various courses including BTech. Despite repeated requests from the government to elevate AMU to the status of an IIT, officials have consistently declined the offer, opting to maintain its current status. Eligibility for admission requires candidates to have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. AMU does not consider JEE Main scores for admission.
