JEE exam always have negative marking if the question is MCQ .If the question is numerical based then there is no negative marking .
Exam pattern for JEE :
Total number of question: 90(30 phy ,30 chem and 30 maths)
Question type: Objective having 4 choices out of which one is correct
Marking scheme: 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Maximum marks: 360
