Hello Naresh, 

Glad to know that you are intrested in taking up Cath lab technician courses. Well , As you would already know, it is an Allied Health science course or also called applied sciences. Basically a Cath technician assist and work with other medical proffesionals durng the cardiovascular surgeries. So , a cath technician has various responsiblities like

  • insert cathers and pacemakers 
  • having advanced knowlegde of scientific principles on which these equipments function 
  • managing other cardiovascular disorders like preparing patients for open heart surgery, perform cardiac tests and ECGs etc.

For this course, In Indian institutes, the average fees ranges from 1 lakh to 4 lakh , depending on the institution type and the average annual salary starts from2 lakh to 20 lakhs, again it depends on the graduates expertise and proffesionalism. 

For an undergraduate degree in this branch of allied health science, A student must have completed 10+2 years from recognized borad. 

Undergraduate programme is of 3 years which includes 6 semesters. Admissions are done based on counselling and institution procedures. Top recruiters include MAnipal, Apollo, Fortis etc. and recruiting areas as cardiovascular technologist, medical sonographers etc. There is a wide range of recruiting areas for this specialization as this is a renowned paramedical course.
