NEET 2025: College Predictor | Cutoff | Marks vs Rank | State-wise Merit List
Latest: Allied and Health Sciences- Best Courses, Colleges & Career Options

Hii
Your rank is too low to get admission in any government colleges, because according to previous cutoffs the last closing rank is of around 22,872. No government colleges close within 1lakh to 3lakh. If you still aiming for MBBS with your rank then consider private or deemed medical colleges, which may have higher closing ranks.
You can also monitor later rounds of counselling, that leads to closing ranks upward slightly.
If your NEET UG rank is between 1,00,000 to 3,00,000, chances for government medical colleges in Karnataka under the general category are very less, but if you belong to SC/ST/OBC category or have a Karnataka state domicile, then you may still get a seat in some govt. colleges under state quota in the later rounds or mop-up.
Some of the government medical colleges in Karnataka where such ranks sometimes get a chance (especially in reserved categories) include:
Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bidar
Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalaburagi
Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, Kodagu
Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences, Karwar
Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences, Raichur
Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences, Koppal
Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary
Cutoff changes every year depending on the number of applicants, difficulty level of exam, and seat availability. So I would suggest you to keep an eye on the Karnataka CET counseling rounds and also fill for mop-up to increase your chances.
