Only if you believe you didnt get the rank you deserved this year, in spite of self preparation and determination, do consider a drop. Already you are in a better place, as its hardly 4-5 more months hardwork, focus and revision until next years JEE Main probably between February and March 2021.

If you were getting a Circuital or CSE Branch at LNMIIT, I might have suggested otherwise, but in your case Drop might be a wise decision and might prove to be a trump card in your education and future career.

Decide a proper strategy, both preparation and test taking strategy and work on your weak areas this year. Take some online preparation material and tet series, and be regular and serious with preparation. You will surely make through. Stay Safe and All the Best.
