I don't think it will be a right choice as this will waste your time.Right time to do polytechnic is after 10th and you have already done 12th so i suggest you should not go for polytechnic. Instead you should opt for the degree instead of doing diploma. A degree course will offer you good career opportunities and good job with good package.Although If you choose for diploma then you will get more opportunities for work but remember that it will be on the lower level in the industry and you will not get good package at all.

So decision is upto you.

Polytechnic or Diploma courses are donepost 10th grade so students can join colleges by fulling its application form.

If you are from 12th grade Science stream it make sno sense joining polytechnic courses.

You can simply take entrance exams and go for Engineering courses ahead.
