If in your original CBSE 2024 result your PCM aggregate was below 55% but you have now taken improvement exams and increased your marks so that PCM aggregate is more than 55%, then you can be considered eligible for Delhi Technological University (DTU) under OBC category, provided you meet other criteria such as qualifying JEE Main. DTU’s eligibility requirement for B.Tech admissions generally specifies a minimum PCM aggregate of 60% for the general category and slightly lower for OBC/SC/ST as per government norms (often 55%). Since your aggregate has now improved beyond the cut-off after the improvement exam, your updated marksheet should be valid for eligibility during admission. However, it is important that your improvement result is issued by CBSE before the admission deadline, and that you submit the updated marksheet during counselling. If you only have the improvement scorecard after counselling closes, it may not be accepted. My advice is to check DTU’s admission brochure for the exact OBC relaxation policy this year and keep all updated documents ready before the registration process starts.
