Mathematical Knowledge is important as physics and chemistry also has numerical modules and in NEET also, numericals are asked more over theory questions. Math paper is not considered as in life science PCB has high role than mathematics. Mathematics is mother- Science of all other stream. You can consider any stream, business or department. every where mathematics is used.

without knowledge you can't be doctor as they are important. it is not only use to clear entrance exam but those are implemented in real life to deal with problems.  candidates who clear NEET exam obviously have good maths knowledge even not asked in exam  and they study physics for years.

You are not needed to be good at mathematics if by mathematics you mean differentiation, integration, etc. You can be a very good doctor without the knowledge of these things. MBBS is all about biology and chemistry to some extent. There are some topics where you might need some information from other subjects but that is self explanatory and you can learn it easily.
