With this score you can not get admission in Thapar University. Your score is very less and your rank will also be above 100k. Thapar University only prefer students who have less than 100k rank in Jee mains but there is no such criteria in Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University has their own criteria which a candidate needs to fulfill to take admission there.

Ishan with 44 marks according to last year your rank will be in the range of 300000 - 400000. So if you have a Punjab state quota then you might have a very slim chance of getting a stream in Thapar university because according to last year records in the third round the closing rank of the college was 300137 for Mechatronics branch. So until and unless this time, you get a better rank with 44 marks you won't be able to get any seat in any branch in Thapar University.
