Hello,

If you have scored 80 percentile the overall expected rank based on our JEE Main rank predictor tool is 204600 - 230000. To check the overall expected rank you can use our JEE Main rank predictor tool

With the expected overall rank your category rank is expected to be over 40000. With such rank you may not get seat in IIIT considering the previous year cut off. You need to score minimum 90-95 percentile to get seat in an IIIT. But the expected overall rank and category rank may vary after the final result. If you want to get seat in NIT or IIIT you need to prepare for JEE Main upcoming sessions to improve the score or you can prepare for JEE Advanced as you have chances to qualify in JEE Main considering the qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main 2020. The qualifying cut off percentile for OBC-NCL category was 72.8887969. Factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of the paper, total number of seats available determine the cut off so it is subjected to change.

We have JEE Main knockout package. If you want to prepare for JEE Main upcoming sessions you can check the details and enroll

hello aspirant,

80 percentile would fetch you a rank around 204600-230000.As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc, based on your rank you have tough to no chances to fetch seat in nits, iiits.you need better percentile of 98+  to fetch seat in top nits,iiits..you can try in private engineering colleges using your jee percentile.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.
