Merit in which subject is required for admission in BSC zoology hons?

Hello

The common eligibility criterion for pursuing B.Sc. Hons. in Zoology degree is qualifying 10+2 in science or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in Biology subject and in aggregate from a recognized board of the country.

Like if I want to pursue the course in Hindu college, it's cutoff is 97, so I have to score 97 in biology only or in aggregate?
