Hello,

Yes, you can still get admission to an MBA program . While your 12th percentage is low, many MBA colleges focus more on your graduation score, entrance exam performance (like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc.), work experience (if any), and personal interview.

Since you are from a general category and a non-engineering background, you can target:

  • Tier 1: IIMs, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS, MDI, etc. (High CAT/XAT scores required; 12th score may be a minor issue in top IIMs)

  • Tier 2: IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, FORE, GIM, KJ Somaiya, etc. (Good CAT/XAT/CMAT scores can help)

  • Tier 3: Christ University, UPES Dehradun, Amity, LPU, BIMTECH, NDIM, ITM Navi Mumbai, etc. (Accepts MAT/CMAT/low CAT scores)

Your 12th marks may affect some top colleges, but many MBA colleges accept students based on entrance exams and graduation scores.

Hope it helps !
