My 12th marks is 61.8% from cbse board in 2016. I have appeared in jee exam in 2016 first time. Am I eligible for jee 2017?

Yes, you are eligible for Jee exam in 2017. Class 12th marks weightage (40%) will not be included in determining JEE Main 2017 rank. For, Preparation you can refer NCERT books, Grill yourself into the basics until all your fundamentals are very clear as JEE Main is specifically designed to test how well students have grasped the topics and how they apply them to a given set of problems. You can practice past year problems, MCQs and Mock test for your practice. ALL THE BEST!!
