My Borther has scored 311 marks in Neet 2025, With AIR 413302 and OBC category rank 190223 belongs to UttarPradesh State. He is willing to take any BDS/BHMS/BAMS college as MBBS seems impossible and then planning to reappear in NEET 2026 in first year of college. What are the possibilities?
Hi Ayush,
We understand your concern, as NEET is a very competitive exam you need at least 550 or more to get admission into a decent MBBS college not a top tier college as it would require 650 to 700 marks in NEET.
Now, it is good as you are keeping BDS/ BAMS or BHMS as backup option and then reappearing for NEET exam next year. But, be sure that you can simultaneously prepare for NEET while studying BAMS.
If you strongly feel to pursue for MBBS then you may even take a complete year drop with good preparation for 2026 NEET exam but if you want to minimize the risk, it is better to opt for BAMS/ BDS and then trying your luck again in 2026 exam.
