According to JEE Mains eligibility criteria:
- General/OBC Candidates and other need to score at least 75% in their 10+2 results and need to be in top 20 percentile students
- ST/ SC candidates need to score at least 65% in 10+2 results for being eligible
If the candidate do not satisfy the above mentioned criteria then he would not be allowed for admission through JEE Mains. In your case, chances of getting admission are difficult as the candidate doesn't fulfill the eligibility criteria. For further information, follow; JEE Mains
