Hi,

Congratulations on your brothers' qualification!

To check if he got a seat allotted in NIT Sikkim, check the results declared after counselling rounds on JoSAA portal.

If not allotted in the counselling rounds 1 to 6, you can wait for CSAB rounds for NIT.

And, yes, you need to pay the fees to confirm your seat till the given deadline. The fee structure differs based on the category reservations. Here is a basic overview of the fees charged:

General Category - 5 to 6 lakhs - total for 4 years.

SC/ST/Reserved Category with income below 1 Lakh annually- Full fee waivers available

General/OBC/EWS - (income between 1 -5 Lakhs per year) - 2/3rd of the tution fee remission.

All the best!
