Dear Aspirant, sorry to say but you cannot apply for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate as you are not from general category and no reserved category people can apply for this certificate. I hope you are clear now. Feel free to ask if you have any other doubts. All The Best for your upcoming future.

Hello,

Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!

EWS Certificate Application- EWS certificate is issued to the persons belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category of the society. EWS certificate is just like an income certificate and should not be confused with the caste certificate.

Indian citizens who have not been covered under any SC, ST, and OBC reservation category and the gross income are below 8 lakh per annum, including the family earning from all sources such as agriculture, salary, professional, business, etc. is eligible for EWS reservation criteria.

All the best!

Hope it will help!

Thank you!
