If you are downloading  ebook from some app browser, then ebook will not be showing in our file manager.It will be showing in that app browser only.

Your books are not opening because, it might not get download properly else the format in white got downloaded might not supported by your PC or Mobile. Kindly check the format and convert it into your PC or Mobile supported format. If this doesn't works then just delete the whole file and re-download it.
