Hello dear,

There's no need to worry for your friend.He scored a good rank to get a seat.

I have heard that Osmania University selects the candidates with above 70 and below 1000 if general category for there admission progress.

Where your friend scored good as per above mentioned marks.Hope this cleared your point.
